I was rooting around under the basement stairs back home (where I grew up), but in the dream this was a much larger space. When I pushed to the back of it (it's full of boxes of old stuff), I saw a couple of our old Fisher-Price toys - the blue family house, and the circus train. I picked up the train and took it out from under the stairs. I found my sister, and took her underneath the stairs to show her what I'd found, but the toys had disappeared. Aggravated, I emerged to see if the train was still there, and it was. I ran off to get a camera so that I could take a picture of it, but when I returned it had disappeared too.
