Why I've been in a foul mood this week

I actually got a decent night’s sleep! Like, 12 hours. I needed it, too. Have been sleep deprived recently, mostly by my own actions. I feel better now, but we’ll see how I’m doing by this afternoon. Thankfully, I only have one class today and tomorrow now that I think of it. My Religious Studies class isn’t meeting today, and Prof. Carr cancelled Art and the Occult tomorrow as she’s in Iowa at a conference. Woo, Iowa. She also gave us an extension on our astrology papers until Monday, which is good, as I barely have a start on it. But I did start! I’m not procrastinating! Much.

I’m kinda glad I don’t haver my Rel. Studies today, because on Tuesday we discussed Elie Wiesel’s book Night, and watched Night and Fog. I had a really hard time going to my poetry class after that, let alone doing anything other than curling up in a dark corner and having a complete emotional breakdown. Theodor Adorno argued that "writing poetry after Auschwitz is barbaric," and I really couldn’t think of anything else during class.

In other news, I got a ticket because my parking pass is expired. Ouch. Well, now I’ll be sure to get a new one.
