Sci-Fi channel
so, yeah. I watched the Man-Thing movie last night on Sci-Fi channel. I can't say I was dissipointed, because I didn't have high hopes in the first place. THey made him more like Swamp Thing than he's supposed to be, and the acting was atrocious, but what do you expect from a Sci-Fi Channel movie? I mean, the made a movie called Cobra vs Python or something silly like that. I guess they've run out of kinds of snakes to make gigantic and eat people.
I knew it wouldn't be completely loyal to the original story, but I'm ok with that, really. I was amused that the writer was actually glad it was on TV rather than in theaters. It really didn't deserve to see a larger audience. And the Marvel website has said nothoing about it since October, when it was supposed to be released into theaters. Methinks they're slightly embarrased by the whole thing.
