Ranting

Deception surrounds us all. Those who attempt to realize it are labeled pessimists and are booted away into a corner to ponder who is really what they seem to be. People are constantly trying to cover up parts of themselves which "don't fit in" lest they be labeled "freaks or outsiders." Man's desire to hide his dark side consumes his mind until he believes himself to be "sinful" or "evil." Instead of simply accepting his humanity, man seeks redemption from a higher power. Constantly trying to be totally pure man begins to throw away that which makes him human. If one wishes to see a totally pure being that has no "evil" urges, one should go look at a carrot. If one wishes to see a being that is both mindless and believes itself to be pure, one should go to any church service and have a look around. But of this I am sure, take nothing at its face value, look for the deeper meaning of things, and always, always, think for yourself.
