These notes touch on the lesson delivered from the lesson plan Creative Computer Exploration with Scratch: Day 3, delivered on March 5, 2008.

Alex Petrov again volunteered in the classroom on Day 3. His help with the younger students made the class run much more smoothly than it would have otherwise.

We had only 5 students in class today, Bill and Ted were absent.

The kids formed teams spontaneously, with one exception. All the teams managed to write something down during the on-paper design phase. One team came up with an elaborate design, including multiple drawings, and went to work immediately on implementing those drawings in the paint program. The design phase went much more smoothly than it did last session.

We asked the students if they were ready to present again at the start of the next class, and one team said they were ready. The other teams want more time, so on Day 4, we will have one presentation session at the beginning and one at the end.

The names of students have been changed to protect their privacy.
