Button Sizing

Not a JavaScript question pre se, but does any one know how to contol the
length of a button. I would like to have a vertical pile of buttons,
all connected to different scripts, but it looks kind of crappy if all the
buttons are not the same length. Using size does not work, nor does adding
blanks in the value string so that all the stings are the same length.

Any other ideas to try???
