        First Sun made Java.  Then Netscape made Javascript.

*here*]  Then Netscape very quickly and quietly changed the
name to Livescript.  Then Sun and Netscape announced Javascript
(and quickly and quietly changed all the Livescript doc names
back to Javascript) all over the place.

        Supposedly Javascript is syntactically different
from Livescript, but the differences are so small that they
essentially did a code revision and viola, Javascript.  You
can declare the language to be Livescript and Navigator will
still evaluate it as Javascript.
