Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to propose a solution:

become a cold, jaded, and unreachable person.  make people wonder if 
you're gay, hurt, or just plain cruel.  scare away potential mates with 
questions like "you have pretty eyes... can i have one?"  show no emotions 
except a bitter disdain.  respond to propositions with statements like 
"you don't want me, baby; i can't afford you."  people you meet will 
either be deathly afraid, or instantly obsessed with you...
