Cajun Spice Mix

5 teaspoonspaprika
1 teaspoonground dried oregano
1 teaspoonground dried thyme
1 teaspooncayenne pepper (add more to taste)
1/2 teaspoonfinely ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoonfinely ground white pepper
1/2 teaspoongarlic powder (add more to taste)

Notes:
If you are making blackened fish, chicken, or steak, lightly wet the fish or meat with water. Then spread evenly across the fish or meat. Add more to taste.
