FWIW, lynx *still* displays the script even with the comment tag container
as mentioned above.  The commented out section is invisible *until* the
first occurance of " > ".  After that the code is rendered along with the
regular html.  At least two different versions of lynx (unix) do this,
including Netcom's.  'Tis pity.
