Subscribing and Unsubscribing to the list (Majordomo Help)

Greetings from the List Maintainers:

I have noticed many people trying to unsubscribe by sending mail directly to
the list. This will not automatically unsubscribe you. This also makes the
list harder for us to maintain. If you need to unsubscribe (let's say this
list is too high traffic for you), please send mail to 'majordomo@obscure.org'
with the message body (NOT subject) of: 'unsubscribe javascript'.

If you want to only get the javascript-digest, you may put another line
in that same message body, that says 'subscribe javascript-digest'.

I have attached the general help that Majordomo provides to help everyone
use the list more efficiently.

Thanks,

 -Richard Bullington
One of the Javascript List Maintainers
